Turkmenistan, Where on Earth Is That?

Tam describes his experiences in Turkmenistan beautifully. The reader is there with him, sharing the joys and frustrations of working with an ex-Soviet community. His descriptions of flying are spot on – good for both aviators and non-aviators alike. This would be an enjoyable read for potential flight instructors too, as Tam describes the philosophy and practice of training with great skill and humour. A real joy to read!
